@ Using Batteries
1.
Open the lid of the battery compartment by pushing it in the direction of the arrow.
2.
Insert two size-AAA (IEC RO3) batteries into the compartment.
Ensure that their polarities are correct.
3.
Close the lid.
Press the [PLAY] button. The [OPR] indicator will light if the batteries are OK.
If the indicator is dim or if neither indicator lights, replace both batteries with new
ones.

If the unit won't be used or if only AC mains power is to be used for a long period
of time, remove the batteries. Otherwise they may leak and cause corrosion.
@ Using AC Mains Power
1.
Purchase the optional AC adapter.
2.
Plug the adapter into a convenient AC wall outlet.
3.
Plug the other end into the [DC IN 3V] jack.
This automatically disconnects any internal batteries.
Caution:
The center contact of the [DC IN 3V] jack requires a negative poiarity. Some
AC adapters may supply a positive polarity to this contact and damage the
unit.
Using the Remote Controller

Tape operation can be halted, and audio volume to the headphones controlled using
the remote controller while the main set remains inside a carrying case or bag.

You can switch the audio between the radioeTV and tape.
