1. Locate the vehicles factory tow plug
location (S6) behind the bumper. On some
vehicles the tow plug will be hidden under a
black box. remove the 10 mm hex bolts and
temporarily remove cover to reveal the tow
plug.
2. Insert harness connector into vehicle
harness. Route the 4-flat to the center of
the vehicle and secure in a convenient out
of the way location.
3. On the Highlander and RX300 locate the
vehicles fuse panel on the drivers side of
the engine compartment. Insert a 20 amp
fuse in the location marked towing.
4. Re-install anything removed during
installation.
