Restore Factory Default Settings
To reset the Modem to its factory default settings, click the Restore button in the System Settings window. You will be
prompted to confirm your decision to reset the Modem. The Modem will reboot with the factory default settings
including IP settings (192.168.1.1) and Administrator password (admin).

Firmware

Performing a Firmware Upgrade can sometimes change the configuration settings. Be
sure to back-up the Modem's configuration settings before upgrading the firmware.
Note
Use the Firmware Upgrade window to load the latest firmware for the device. Note that the device configuration
settings may return to the factory default settings, so make sure you save the configuration settings with the System
Settings window described above.
To upgrade firmware, type in the name and path of the file or click on the Browse button to search for the file. Click the
Apply button to begin copying the file. The file will load and restart the Modem automatically.
