Make a Call

Use your phone just like any other phone to make a call.
Procedure
Enter a number and pick up the handset.

Make a Call With A Hotline Phone

Some workplaces have a phone that is meant for emergency or hotline calls. These phones automatically call
a designated number when you lift the receiver and are popular choices for elevators, hotel lobbies or security
booths. Most hotline phones don't allow you to dial a phone number. They're dedicated phones that ring to a
single phone number. However, some hotline phones do allow you to place a call. If this feature is configured,
then you have up to 15 seconds to place a call. Otherwise, the call automatically goes to the hotline number.
Procedure
Step 1
Lift the phone receiver and wait for the call to ring.
Step 2 (Optional) Dial a phone number.

Make a Call with the Speakerphone

Use your speakerphone for hands-free calling. Keep in mind that your coworkers might be able to hear your
call too.

Step 1
Enter a number using the keypad.
Step 2 Press Speakerphone

Make a Call with a Standard Headset

Use your headset for hands-free calling that won't disturb your coworker and gives you some privacy.
