Quick Start
Press Start and the display will
show a default cooking temperature of
500°F, for 1 hour.
Start/Pause
• Press Start/Pause once to pause
cooking.
• Press Start/Pause to resume
cooking.
Temperature Format: °F to °C
• To display Celsius press and hold
Med High for 4 seconds until 2
beeps are heard.
• Repeat step above to switch back to
Fahrenheit.
Changing Wattage Setting
The PIC Diamond defaults to 1400 watts.
If used somewhere with limited wattage,
you can adjust the PIC Diamond's
wattage to 600 watts or 900 watts.
Note: When cooking at lower wattages,
your cooking time may increase slightly.
1. Press and hold Time/Watts to
change to a different wattage.

When changing from the default
1400 wattage, first press and hold to
switch to 600w, then press and hold
again for 900w, and a again to return
to 1400w
•
The wattage can be changed at any
time.
•
The selected wattage will remain the
same until changed, even when the
unit is turned off and unplugged.

Adjusting Cooking Temperature
Increase or decrease the temperature
manually by selecting 1 of the 5
Preset Temperature Buttons, or by
–
+
pressing or to quickly adjust the
temperature down or up in 5-degree
increments. The default cooking
temperature is 500°F.

Stage/Programming Cooking
Program the PIC to cook at different
temperatures for different amounts of
time. You can program 3 stages for a
recipe. The Probe's target temperature
and target hold temperature can be used
for all stages. The default of all stages is
500°F and 00:00 for time.
Press Stage, "1" will appear on

the display and you can set the
temperature and time.
Repeat for Stages 2 and 3.

• When setting the temperature you may
also use the probe to set the target
internal temperature and/or the target
internal hold temperature.
• Any stages without a set time wil not run
and will be skipped.

Adjusting Cooking Time
To cook for a specific time, or longer than
1 hour:
1. Press Time. "01:00" will display
(hours/minutes) in 1-minute incre-
ments.

To lock the control panel,

seconds until 2 beeps are heard.
Note: The PIC will remain locked
when turned off or unplugged.
2. Repeat step 1 to unlock.
