    Any data on an SSD/HDD that you install will be permanently erased during the formatting process. Aurender recommends Samsung QVO or EVO series internal SSD drives, and Western Digital or Seagate HDDs. Most 2.5" HDD or SSD is compatible with Aurender models featuring user-installable storage drives.* However, there is a limitation in the physical form factor.

    Aurender’s playback engine operates on a “play queue” basis. When you select a song or group of songs to play, those files get cached to the internal solid state drive for best audio performance.
