Aurender recommends Samsung QVO or EVO series internal SSD drives, and Western Digital or Seagate HDDs. Most 2.5" HDD or SSD is compatible with Aurender models featuring user-installable storage drives.* However, there is a limitation in the physical form factor.

    Aurender’s playback engine operates on a “play queue” basis. When you select a song or group of songs to play, those files get cached to the internal solid state drive for best audio performance.
