5.1.3. Push the active disk cover upwards and into the main section of the safety guard before engaging the stopper pin.
Whilst continuing to press on the stopper pin, rotate the disc until the pin is fully engaged and the disk becomes locked in position.
5.1.4.
Remove the hexagonal screw holding the disc (using the spanner provided), the lock washer, the flat washer, the outer flange, the collar and the
disc (if present).
5.1.5. Inspect the two disk flanges to ensure they are in good condition. Remove any dirt.
5.1.6.
Install the inner flange, the disk, the outer flange, the collar, the flat washer, the lock washer and the hexagonal screw. Tighten the hexagonal
screw using the spanner provided.
5.1.7. Fully release the stopper pin and allow the active disk cover to revert to the closed position. Replace the outer disk cover and screw the
butterfly nut back on to secure the cover.

6. DUST EXTRACTION

6.1.
The MG314 cut off saw comes with a dust extraction
port, situated at the base of the cutting table.
6.2.
Attach dust extractor pipe (not included) to the port (Fig 8).
6.3.
Activate dust extractor (not included), then activate cut
off saw.

7. MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Ensure that the saw is unplugged from the power supply before attempting
!
any maintenance.
7.1.
Regularly clean the dust which accumulates inside the protective guard and on the external parts.
7.2.
Periodically clean and oil the vice screw.
7.3.
Change the abrasive disc when it is worn and/or does not operate efficiently.
7.4.
Before each use, check for obvious signs of damage to the machine. Also check for loose screws and other moving parts, incorrectly
mounted or misaligned parts and any other factors that might create an
WARNING! Should excessive noise or vibration occur, cease use immediately. Turn off the machine and disconnect from power

supply. Do not use the machine again until the problem has been fully resolved.
