2.5.SYNC SEPARATOR
Fig. 8 shows a circuit diagram of the SYNC SEPARATOR. The Yin output from the NTSC/PAL/SECAM/S
VIDEO SELECTOR is amplified by the OPE-AMP, IC407, and enters the SYNC SEPARATOR, !C406.
Then the AFC, horizontal oscillator, and integration circuit in 1C406, function to output horizontal, vertical,
and composite sync signals, AFCO, VSO, and CSYNC, respectively.

A circuit diagram of the VIDEO AMP is shown in Fig. 9. Decoder output signals Rd, Gd, and Bd enter OPE-
AMPs 1C410, IC409, and IC408 and are amplified to an appropriate level and output as Rv, Gv, and By.
