FCC NOTES
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,

manufacturer is by no means responsible for any damage or hazard caused by improper application.

  • Page 5 VESA mount bracket of the RT terminal can be opened through two thumbscrews. To get more detail information, please refer to the relevant user manual on Posiflex global website. Or contact directly the Posiflex’ technical service team. Remove the top cover and the cable cover by pressing and pulling at the position which circled in the below picture.
  • Page 6 Remove the hinge cover like the below pictures. For RT and ZT series terminal, you have to change the VESA 100x100 mounting bracket to the VESA 75x75 mounting bracket which provided in the packing. Remove and install the bracket with six screws. For XT and PS series terminal, you can skip this step.
  • Page 7 For XT/PS series terminal, fix the terminal to the VESA 100x100 mounting bracket with four hex socket head screws. You can find the Allen Wrench in the package of the main system. For RT/ZT series terminal, fix the terminal to the VESA 75x75 mounting bracket with four hex socket head screws.
  • Page 8 Connect the power cable to the POS terminal. Furthermore, if there is a printer in the Gen9 base, connect the USB cable to the POS terminal. XT/PS series terminal view Power Cable USB Cable of printer (If there is a printer.)
  • Page 9 Connect the power cable to the power board of the Gen9 base. Please note that XT/PS/RT series are 12V DC-IN POS terminal, so you have to connect the power cable to the 4-pin 12V DC-OUT connector of the power board. Please refer to the below picture, or you can refer to the power board view on P.4.
  • Page 10 Put the top cover and the cable cover to the Gen9 base. 10. Put the hinge cover to the rear side of the terminal with both hands. 11. Put the rear cover back to the Gen9 base.
  • Page 11 12. Tilt the monitor screen to your desired angle. While setting up the tilting adjustment, be careful NOT to press on the LCD panel. For XT-xx15 POS Terminal (15-inch) + LM/TM-3010E + Gen9 Base Configuration There is a special cable routing solution for XT-xx15 POS terminal (15-inch) + LM/TM-3010E + Gen9 base configuration.
  • Page 12 Put the hinge cover to the rear side of the XT-xx15 POS terminal with both hands. Make sure the VGA cable and USB cable (Only for TM- 3010E model. If it’snt’, please skip this part.) pass through the cable passage like the below picture. Lift the LM/TM-3010E monitor and then align the four fixing screw hole on its mounting bracket with the hole pattern at the rear of the XT-xx15 POS terminal as shown in the below pictures.

    Countertop Installation Gen9 base can be installed onto a flat countertop. The diameter of each screw hole of the plastic base plate is 14.8mm, and the diameter of each screw hole of the metal base plate is 6.6mm. Please follow the below step to install the Gen9 base onto the countertop.

    Gen9 base. For countertop applications, the cable can be passed through the cable exit on the rear side of the Gen9 base. About 2 Monitor for Gen9 Base Gen 9 base support LM/TM-5015 and LM/TM-5016 2 monitor.
  • Page 15 Hold the concave portion of the cable cover with thumb, as shown in the circled portion of the figure, and then remove the cable cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the below picture. Remove Fix the bottom tray bracket to the bottom side of the printer with two marked B M2.5 screws.

(1) Connect the other side of the power cable to one of the 24V DC-OUT connector. (2) Pass the USB cable through the cable exit, and then connect the other side of the USB cable to the POS system.
  • Page 18 Put the top rear cover and the cable cover to the Gen9 base. 10. Put the main system hinge cover to the rear side of the terminal with both hands. 11. Put the rear cover back to the Gen9 base.
  • Page 19 Press and pull. Remove the rear cover of the Gen9 base. Disconnect the cable from PP-7900 first. And then to remove the PP- 7900 printer, please pull the plunger upwards on the rear side and then push the printer out.
  • Page 20 Remove the side cover by loosening one screw. Remove the side cover on the other side by loosening one screw. Remove the printer door by two hands. Press firmly in the middle with your thumbs, and then remove the printer door. Press.
  • Page 21 Remove the cable cover and the base plate from your EPSON printer refer to the below procedure. Install the base plate for EPSON printer which is provided in the packing to the EPSON printer like the below picture.
  • Page 22 Install the printer to the GEN 9 base like the below picture. Make sure the positioning plunger is well installed into the positioning hole. 10. (1) Connect the power cable to the printer module, and then connect the other side of the power cable to one of the 24V DC-OUT connector. (2) Connect the USB cable to the printer module.
  • Page 23 11. Install the two side covers back to the Gen9 base and fix with two original screws. 12. Put the top rear cover and the cable cover to the Gen9 base. 13. Put the main system hinge cover to the rear side of the terminal with both hands.

    Gen9 Base Thermal Printer PP-7900 (Optional) M30III, M50, and M55; Mounting Please note that Posiflex would provide the mounting Bracket for Thermal Printer bracket for installation but NOT the EPSON printer module. It is recommended that the customer buy the (Optional) EPSON printer locally.
