Silicone Pad Use of the silicone pad is optional. It is included to provide additional water resistance. It also prevents slight weight variations caused by abrupt temperature changes on the platform. • Place the silicone pad onto the platform. • Ensure that the pad covers the platform completely without interfering with platform travel.
General Maintenance and Care • Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Always allow your scale to acclimate to normal room temperature ◦ before use. • Keep your scale in a clean environment. ◦ Excessive dust, dirt, vibration, air currents, as well as close proximity to other electronic equipment may have an adverse effect on the accuracy and reliability of the scale.

DO NOT use a quick charger. DO use a 5V/1A charger. Place the scale on a horizontal and smooth surface. DO NOT attempt to weigh while charging. This device is powered by a lithium battery. DO NOT wait until the scale battery dies to charge it, instead, charge it in time after you use it.
Page 19
Avoid pouring water directly into your scale, as water may become trapped. lf this occurs drying time may exceed 4 hours. Water drops on the LCD display will not interfere with your weighing. These drops will dry and disappear. If the scale displays “UNST” or the readings jump after washing, water is still inside the scale. Simply shake out the excess water and let your scale dry longer.
