Follow the instructions provided here and in the following chapters. Intended use The product is intended for the development, production and verification of electronic components and devices in industrial, administrative, and laboratory environments by personnel familiar with the potential risks of measuring electrical quantities.

    ® Getting started R&S NGC100 Trying out the instrument Available only for R&S NGC102(-G) and R&S NGC103(-G) models, the SENSE lines allow you to compensate voltage drops on the supply lines to the load so that the actual selected voltage is applied to the load. The instrument automatically detects when the SENSE lines are connected and it reg- ulates the output voltage directly at the load.

It introduces the possibilities for operating the instrument and describes the basic functionality of the control elements.

To protect a connected, sensitive output in general, the R&S NGC100 power supply includes an electronic fuse which can be switched on individually for each channel. A fuse delay can be applied to each channel and individual electronic fuses can be log- ically linked to switch off the interlinked channels if a fuse triggers.
