How does scanning work

1 comments:
Mr. Anderson
February 11, 2025

The Ricoh IM 370 uses a flatbed scanning method for stationary original exposure. It supports basic scanning functions, including scanning documents and sending the scanned data via email. To send scanned data by email, the SMTP server and network settings must be configured in advance. An email address can be registered in the address book for easy selection. The machine also supports SMTPS (SMTP over SSL) for secure email transmission.

To check the toner level on the Ricoh IM 370, press the [Check Status] button on the machine. If the toner is low or depleted, a message and an icon will be displayed on the screen. If the toner appears low but there is still a lot remaining, try removing and reinserting the print cartridge following the toner replacement procedure shown on the screen.
