I have light set to motion sensor, yet it still comes on at night, and stays on.I thought switch was either or, dusk to dawn, OR, motion sensor activated only. Not sure what is up with it?? Have it set to motion sensor, it is off during day, but, at dusk ...without any motion around it....it comes on, and stays on. I wanted motion sensor only. doing something wrong, or??? Please advise.
The Commercial Electric S5.5WPK light turns on at night even when set to motion sensor (MOT) mode because the sensor is designed to activate the light when motion is detected in the dark. In MOT mode, the light turns on for 10 minutes at 100% brightness when motion is detected, then dims to 30% if no further motion is detected. This behavior occurs only at night, as the sensor disables activation during the day.
