Temperature & Humidity Sensor
The Cair Climate is a combined temperature and humidity sensor all in one, small, discreet device.
This clever sensor can detect high and low temperatures, a fast rise in temperature, and high and low
humidity levels. There are 8 different temperature thresholds for each option, which are programmed
using the on-board button.
The Climate can help maintain a healthy temperature within the home, and the humidity detection also
assists with monitoring the environment for those living with long term conditions such as COPD.

  • Page 1 Guide V 1.0 The Cair Climate is a combined temperature and humidity sensor all in one, small, discreet device. This clever sensor can detect high and low temperatures, a fast rise in temperature, and high and low humidity levels. There are 8 different temperature thresholds for each option, which are programmed using the on-board button.
  • Page 2 The on-board button and LED are used to switch the Climate on and off, and to program the settings. When in use, the button can be locked to ensure that programmed settings are not inadvertently changed. A hidden test button is also provided to allow easy pairing with a receiving device.
  • Page 3 Repeat steps 1-6 if more programming is required. Remember to lock the button when finished. Note 1: If the button is pressed more than 8 times at step 4, the red LED will illuminate for 2 seconds, the Climate will exit the programming menu and the previous setting will be retained.
  • Page 4 While the amber LED is illuminated, press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the alternating green/red LED flashes rapidly, then release the button. The Climate will now reset to default settings (see table on page 3), and will switch off. Remember to switch the Climate back on if using afterwards.
  • Page 5 Method 2 Ensure the Climate is switched on and the button is unlocked. Press the button 4-8 times to match the number of the option you would like to send. While the LED is rapidly flashing green, press and hold the button. The amber LED will illuminate. Release the button when the amber LED extinguishes after 2 seconds.
