Drum Cartridge Life
The rated life for the drum cartridge is
approximately 18,000 pages. When the
drum light comes on, there are 1,000
more pages able to be copied/printed
until drum end of life. The order number
for the drum cartridge is 13R553.
Replacing the Drum Cartridge
Ensure that you follow steps 1 through 14
(it is essential that you complete all 14
steps in order for the WorkCentre to
operate). If you have a J2 fault code and
the drum indicator is blinking, the drum
cartridge has reached end of life. The
order number for the drum cartridge is
13R553.
Caution: Handle the drum cartridge
very gently during installation to avoid
any possible damage to the drum
surface.
