Colors Do Not Register Properly

Colors do not register correctly or colors are mixed with page-to-page variations.

Probable Causes

The media is moist from humidity.

The printer is not correctly calibrated.

Colors Reproduce Poorly

The colors do not reproduce as expected or they have poor color density.
Probable Causes

One or more of the imaging units may be defective.

Incorrect color matching settings.
The printer is not correctly calibrated.s
Solutions
Remove the moist media and replace it with new, dry
media.
Perform the Image Quality calibration - Tools >
Troubleshooting > Image Quality Calibration.
Solutions
Remove the imaging units one at a time, and check
for damage. If it is damaged, replace it.
Check the Color Matching settings in the printer
driver or your application.
