6. Network Scanning (Optional
Feature)
If your Document Centre is equipped with the Network Scanning option you will be able to
create an electronic file from a hard copy original. The electronic file can be filed, faxed, or
distributed through email.
The scanned document is converted to either a single page or multi-page digital document such
as TIFF file and stored electronically on a TCP/IP or NetWare file server.
The graphic representations of the touch screens in this chapter are based on a fully configured
Document Centre and the appearance of these interface screens may differ slightly on other
models or configurations. However, feature descriptions and functionality remain the same.
