3.7 Clamping piece assembly

Depending on the operating conditions, the antenna ring may be excited to
vibrate. This effect is dependent on
Ÿ the speed,
Ÿ the antenna diameter (depends in turn on the measurement range),
Ÿ the construction of the machine foundations.
To avoid vibrations, a clamping piece is enclosed with the torque
measurement flange enabling the antenna ring to be supported.
