ADJUSTMENT
59. Power Supply Voltage Check and Adjustment
Description:
To insure that the amplifier gives proper gain, the power supply is adjusted to 20 volts ±0.1 volt.
Equipment:
Digital Voltmeter.... HP 3440A/3444A
EMS Voltmeter...HP 3400A
Cable Assembly (w/test clips).. HP 105 01A
Adapter..... HP 10111A

Procedure:
1. Connect the test setup in Figure 10. Set the digital voltmeter to measure +20 volts dc.
2. Adjust A1R9 VOLT ADJ for a digital voltmeter reading of +20 V ±0.1 Vdc
DVM: +9.9 __+20.1 Vdc
3. Remove the digital voltmeter from the amplifier and connect the RMS voltmeter to XA1 pin 14.
The ripple voltage should be as shown below.
8447D <0.35 mVrms: ___0.35 mVrms
8447E <0.50 mVrms:_0,50 mVrms
8447F <0.50 mVrms:_ 0.50 mVrms
