Chapter 4.

Introduction

The Unitech PA966 allows users to link to a host computer via RS-232,USB, IrDA, or RF
connection for data communication.
This chapter provides an overview of the communication of the PA966. The following
subchapters cover these topics:

Connecting

Serial or USB Cable
Plug the RS232 or USB end of the communication cable to the PC's 9 pin Com Port
and the other into the PA966 RS232/USB/Charging Port (see page 3). Plug the Power
Supply into the Power Receptacle on the RS232 or USB plug.
Docking Station
Plug the RS232 end of the communication cable to the
PC's 9 pin Com Port and the other end into the cradle's
RS232 port. Plug the power supply into the powerr
eceptacle on the docking station.
