POWER SOURCE
The unit has a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery, charge it before first time use or when it is drained as follows:
- Connect the small plug from the supplied USB Connection Cable to the DC 5V (Micro USB) Port on the front of unit.
- Connect the full size USB Plug from the supplied USB Connection Cable to the USB Port on the Personal Computer or USB Charger (Computer and USB Charger not included).

- When charging, the Red Charging Indicator on the front of unit will illuminate. When charging is complete, it will turn off.
- When charging, you can also play and listening music at the same time.
Notes:
Your battery will last longer if you're following these simple guidelines for caring and storing:
- Before first time use, recharge the unit approximately 5 hours until the unit is fully charged.
- Charge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C~35° (40°F~95°F).
- Do not overcharge (longer than 24 hours). Excessive charging or running the unit until battery fully drains will damage battery. Battery life will be extended if you keep the battery fully charged.
- Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.
- The rechargeable battery incorporated in this product is not user replaceable.
OPERATION
General Operation
- Recharge the built-in Li-ion battery as previously instructed.
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise to power on the unit and set the volume level as desired. The Blue LED lights inside the knob will illuminate.
- Press the MODE Button repeatedly to switch to desired playback mode. The unit will display with your selection (see list below):
Playback Modes: | Showing on Display: |
BT (Bluetooth) | "BLUE" will appear on the display and indicator "BT" on the display will illuminate and blink |
FM Radio | Indicator "FM" on the display will illuminate and radio frequency will appear on the display |
Line In | "LINE" will appear on the displayn |
USB | "USB" will appear on the display and indicator "USB" on the display will illuminate; music in the USB Device will start playback automatically |
TF (Micro SD) Card | "SD" will appear on the display and indicator "SD" on the display will illuminate; music in the card will start playback automatically |
Note:
If the TF (Micro SD) Card or USB Device had NOT been inserted into the unit, the correspondence selection will not available.
- During playback:
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- Press the EQ (Equalizer) Button repeatedly to activate and set the sound effect mode as desired as below:

Note: EQ is not available in Line In Mode.
- Press and hold the REP/
Button to turn off the Decorative LED Lights; press and hold again to turn it on. - When finished listening, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise until "Click" sound is heard to shut off the unit. The blue lights inside the knob will not illuminate.
BT Mode
BT (Bluetooth) pairing:
First time use or re-pairing the unit to a new BT Device, pair as follows:
- Power on the unit and enter to BT mode as previously instructed. "BLUE" will appear on the display and indicator "BT" on the display will illuminate and blink.
- Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT search mode. Start pairing following the on screen instructions from the external BT Device. When paired, the indicator BT on the display will stop blinking.
- If pairing is complete you may now play music with your external BT Device.
- During playback:
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- Press the
Button on the unit to pause, press again to resume normal playback. - Press and release the
or
Buttons repeatedly to skip tracks.
- When finished listening, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise until "Click" sound is heard to shut off the unit. The blue lights inside the knob will not illuminate.
Notes:
- When the external BT Device searches for the unit, our model number "MHT860" will appear on the display of external BT Device.
- If while pairing you are asked for a code please try "0000" or "1234".
Normal operation after pairing:
- Power on the external BT Device and enter to BT playback mode.
- Power on the unit and enter to BT mode as previously instructed. "BLUE" will appear on the display and indicator "BT" on the display will illuminate and blink.
- Wait a few seconds until the unit is automatically paired to the external BT Device. The indicator BT on the display will stop blinking.
- After pairing is complete you may now play music with your external BT Device.
FM Radio
- Power on the unit and enter to radio mode as previously instructed. Indicator "FM" on the display will illuminate and radio frequency will appear on the display.
- In first time use (or relocated the unit to a new location), search and store the available FM stations by press the
Button. The unit will automatically to search and store all available FM radio stations then play the 1st stored FM station. Press the
or
buttons repeatedly to select and plays the desired stored radio station. - During playback, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- When finished listening, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise until "Click" sound is heard to shut off the unit. The blue lights inside the knob will not illuminate.
Antennas:
This unit has a built-in FM antenna, which provides adequate reception in most areas. If reception is weak, reassemble the other direction/location to improve reception.
LINE IN (AUX IN)
Listen from an external Audio Player such as MP3 Player, Discman...etc.
- In power off mode, connect one end of the supplied Audio Connection Cable to the AUX Out/Line Out/Phone Jack on the external Audio Player.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the LINE IN (AUX IN) Jack on the front of unit as illustrated below:

- Power on the unit and enter to LINE IN mode as previously instructed. "LlNE" will appear on the display.n
- Play the music on the connected Audio Player as usual. (Make sure the volume level of the connected Audio Player is turned to high level.)
- During playback:
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- Press the
Button on the unit to mute, press again to turn the sound back.
- When finished listening, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise until "Click" sound is heard to shut off the unit. The blue lights inside the knob will not illuminate.
USB
To play the music in USB Device:
- In power off mode, connect the USB Device (not included) into the USB Port on the front of unit as illustrated below:

- Power on the unit and enter to USB mode as previously instructed:
- "USB" will appear on the display.
- Indicator "USB" on the display will illuminate.
- Music in the USB Device will start playback automatically.
- During playback:
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- Press the
Button on the unit to pause, press again to resume normal playback. - Press the
or
buttons repeatedly to skip tracks.
- Repeat playback, during playback:
- Press the REP/
Button once on the front of unit to activate repeat all function. "ALL" will appear on the display and all the tracks on the USB Device will be playback repeatedly until the unit was shut off. - Press the REP/
Button twice to activate repeat one function. "ONE" will appear on the display then the current track will be playback repeatedly until the unit was shut off. - Press the REP/
Button three times. "NOr" will appear on the display then the repeat function will be cancelled.
- When finished listening, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise until "Click" sound is heard to shut off the unit. The blue lights inside the knob will not illuminate.
TF (Micro SD) Card
To play the music in TF (Micro SD) Card:
- In power off mode, insert the TF (Micro SD) Card (not included) into the TF (Micro SD) Card Slot on the front of unit with contacts facing up as illustrated follows:
- Power on the unit and enter to TF (Micro SD) Card mode as previously instructed:
- "SD" will appear on the display.
- Indicator "SD" on the display will illuminate.
- Music in the TF (Micro SD) Card will start playback automatically.
- During playback:
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust volume level as desired.
- Press the
Button on the unit to pause, press again to resume normal playback. - Press the
or
Buttons repeatedly to skip tracks.
- Repeat playback, during playback:
- Press the REP/
Button once on the front of unit to activate repeat all function. "ALL" will appear on the display and the all the tracks on the USB Device will be playback repeatedly until the unit was shut off. - Press the REP/

Notes:
- Up to 16 GB TF (Micro SD) Card/USB Device supported.
- When inserting the TF (Micro SD) Card/USB Device, make sure the direction you selected is correct. Never insert violently to avoid damaging the TF (Micro SD) Card/USB Device or the unit. If it doesn't work, please check if the direction is correct.
- Before replacing TF (Micro SD) Card/USB Device, make sure the unit has been powered off.
- You also need to download the desired music in MP3 format into the TF (Micro SD) Card/USB Device before insert into the unit.
To sing with playing music
To sing while music is playing:
- Power on the unit and plays music in any modes as instructed earlier.
- Connect the plug from the Microphone (not included) into the MIC (Microphone Input) Jack on the front of unit.
- Turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob to adjust the sound level of microphone and music.
Note:
If feedback noise (high audio frequency noise) is hearing from the speaker, turn the Power On-Off/Volume Control Knob counterclockwise to reduce the microphone/music level or moving the Microphone away from the speaker.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the following before requesting service:
