PLAYBACK
SINGLE PLAYBACK (Either DECK I or
DECK Il)
Load a prerecorded tape in DECK I or Il.
Set the DOLBY NR switch.
e Always set the switch to the same position that was used
for recording.
Set the REV MODE switch (see page 9).
Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
Press the playback (» or <) button of either DECK |
or Il.

To stop playback temporarily(DECK II only)
Press the pause (i) button.
e@ To resume playback, either press the pause (88) button again, or
press the playback ( or <4) button.
To stop playback
Press the stop (m™) button.
NOTE:
When the play button (forward) is pressed during fast forward, the
unit will play back in the reverse direction, and then play back in
the forward direction. (vice versa for reverse)
Example: When & is pressed during fast forward:
Fast forward —- stop — Reverse play (0.5 seconds) — stop
—> Forward play
| REWIND AUTOPLAY |
Rewind autoplay engaged when the REWIND AUTO PLAY button
is pressed.
Playback starts automatically when the tape is rewound completely.
BLANK SKIP
This function allows you to skip unrecorded portions of the tape
during playback.

NOTE:
e@ When the REV MODE switch is set to the cz position, the
relay mode will be selected.
e When this mode is selected, if the tape deck encounters an
unrecorded portion of tape more than 15 seconds in length, it
will fast forward the tape until it encounters another recorded
portion, and resume playback from that point.
RELAY PLAYBACK
When relay playback mode is selected, continuous playback can
be performed. When the tape in the first deck reaches its end and
stops, the other deck will automatically begin playback.
Load prerecorded tapes in DECK | and DECK Il.
Set the DOLBY NR switch.
e Always set the switch to the same positions that was
used for recording.
Set the REV MODE switch to <> (see pages 13).
Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
Press the playback (> or <4) button of the deck that
will start to play first.
e@ When the tape in one deck ends, the other deck automati-
cally begins playback.
@ Tocancel relay playback, press the stop (lm) button.

eingestellt werden, mit der die Cassette bespielt wurde.

Vortibergehendes Unterbrechen der Wiedergabe
(Nur DECK 11)
Die Pausentaste (i) driicken.
e@ Zum Fortsetzen der Wiedergabe entweder erneut die
Pausentaste (lM) oder aber die Wiedergabetaste (m bzw. <d)
drucken.
Stoppen der Wiedergabe
Die Stopptaste (m) driicken.
ANMERKUNG:
Wenn die Wiedergabetaste (vorwarts) beim Vorspulen gedrtickt
wird, spielt das Gerat in der Ricklaufrichtung und dann in der
Vorlaufrichtung ab (vice versa bei Riicklauf).
Beispiel: Wenn 3 beim Vorspulen gedruckt wird:
Vorspulen — Stop -» Rucklauf Abspielen (0,5 Sekunden) + Stop
— Vorlauf Abspielen
REWIND AUTO PLAY
Wenn die Taste "REWIND AUTO PLAY" gedrtickt wird, wird das
Band zuriickgespult und automatisch abgespielt.
UBERSPRINGEN VON LEERSTELLEN
Wenn die Leerstellensprungfunktion aktiviert ist, werden langere
Leerstellen auf dem Band automatisch Ubersprungen.
Der Bandumkehrbetriebswahlschalter (REV MODE) aut cz
einstellen.
ANMERKUNG:
e@ Wenn der REV MODE-Schalter auf cz> eingestellt ist, wird die
Folgebetriebsart angewéahit.
e@ Wenn das Gerat bei aktivierter Leerstellensprungfunktion einen
unbespielten Bandabschnitt erkennt, der langer ist als 15
Sekunden, wird das Band bis zum nachsten bespielten Abschnitt
vorgespult und die Wiedergabe an diesem Punkt fortgesetzt.
FOLGEWIEDERGABE
Die Folgewiedergabefunktion erméglicht Dauerwiedergabe mit
beiden Decks. Sobald im ersten Deck das Bandende erreicht ist
und der Bandlauf stoppt, setzt das zweite Deck die Wiedergabe
fort.
1. Bespielte Cassetten in DECK | und DECK Il einlegen.
2. Die DOLBY NR-Schalter einstellen.
e@ Die Schalter missen auf die Rauschunterdriickungsbetrie-
bsarteingestellt werden, mit der die jeweilige Cassette
bespielt wurde.
