Add a contact

To the SIM phonebook
contact, then press L
1.
Select
Add a
, OK.
2. Enter the name and press L OK.
3. Enter the relevant number, then select the type of
number allocated to the name (Phone,
Data) and press
OK
phonebook.
A number is limited to 40 digits, depending on your
SIM card. Entering international prefix, country and
area codes allows you to dial a number from any
location.
In the phone phonebook
contact, then press L
1.
Select
Add a
, OK.

Enter the last, then first name (up to 20 latin
characters); one of the two fields can be empty,
but not both.

Then select the number type or field type.
Numeric fields can hold up to 40 digits and one

to store this name in your

"+" sign and alphanumeric fields (e-mail and
note) feature up to 50 latin characters. Each
contact can feature a maximum of 5 numeric
fields (e.g. 2 mobile numbers, 3 work numbers,

an e-mail address and a text note).
4. Enter the relevant number or text and press OK.
5. To personalise this contact, see "Personalizing
your contacts" on page 54.

Service numbers

Subscription and operator-dependent.
This menu allows you to call various voice servers
including consumer services, get some information,
subscribe to mailing lists, etc. The services available
may vary according to your subscription.

Status

Select this menu to display the total number of
contacts you have saved in each phonebook, out of the
total number available.
