OPERATING CD PLAYER (GUI OPERATION)

4. Press the GUI MODE
button.
The MAIN MENU is displayed.
2. Press the CD button of the input selector.

3. Press the CD button once more.
CD (FILE) operation indications are displayed.
You can select from
5 kinds of operation display to suit the type of
CD player. This is a File-type CD player when the unit leaves the
factory. Perform CD SET UP procedures to match the kind of CD
player you are using.

NOTE:
To return from the CD operation display to the MAIN MENU display,
press the icon { Q) in the upper left of the display.
CD SET UP
This unit lets you select the operation display to suit your CD player.
4. Press SET UP in the display.
The CD SET UP MENU is displayed.
2. Select the type of CD player from the 5 available that
corresponds to your CD piayer, and press YES.
FILE
: File-type CD player
SINGLE
: Single-type CD player
3 MAGAZINE
: Muiti-play CD player (3 magazine type)
2 MAGAZINE
: Multi-play CD player (2 magazine type)
1 MAGAZINE
: Multi-play CD player (1 magazine type)
Press NO, and the SET UP MENU is canceled.
3. If the message displayed on the screen is as desired, press
YES.
The operation display for the type of CD you selected appears on
screen.
Pressing NO takes you back to procedure 2's display.

SEARCH BY:
(DISC No., DISC TITLE, ARTIST NAME, GENRE (p. 44))
: Select when searching for a disc. When the CD
player isin the ALL mode, anly DISC No. SEARCH is
possible.
MODE (SINGLE, ALL}
: To play only a single dise select SINGLE.
For search
and continuous play of all discs select ALL.

: Press a desired disc No. button and play begins.
MUSIC LIST
: Press this button, and the track titles of the currently
selected disc is displayed. (Refer to the illustration
below.}
DISC LIST
* TRACK No. button
: You
can
register
the
title, artist's
name,
track
numbers,
and
genre
of
each
disc
{DISC
INFORMATION).
You can also register the tites of CD tracks (MUSIC
TITLE).
: Displays the CD SET UP MENU.
: Select for programmed play.
: Select for random play.
: Stops playback.
: Pauses playback. Press again, and play starts.
: Selects playback. Play starts from the first track of
the disc indicated by the brightly lit number in the
DISC LIST.
: Returns to the beginning of the track currently in
playing.
: Advances to the next track.
: Turns pages listed at the bottom of the display.
: Press to return to the CD (FILE) operation display.
: Press
a desired
track number
button
and
play
begins. Depending on the CD player mode, the first
track may be heard briefly.
