My phone does not ring when a call is transferred to my phone. My phone rings when an outside caller calls in, but not when someone internally is trying to transfer a call to me.

The NEC DT400 phone may not ring for transferred internal calls if the internal ring tone is set to a tone that is hard to hear or silent. You can change the internal ring tone by pressing the speaker button, dialing 720, selecting option 1 for internal calls, choosing a tone from 1 to 8, and pressing speaker again to save.
