Explosion and fire
hazard!

Do not use the device in rooms
where explosive or flammable
substances are stored (e.g. petrol
or solvents) or in strong magnetic
fields.
Only connect the device to a prop-
•
erly installed mains socket with
protective ground contacts and
residual current device (RCD). The
mains socket must also be easy to
access once connected.
Do not connect the device to
•
unearthed mains (e.g. IT power) or
mobile power generators.
•
Charging is only permitted using
mains sockets which have been in-
spected by an electrician. Disregard-
ing this increases the risk of fire!
•
Outdoors, only connect the device
to splash-proof mains sockets.
•
Keep the plug away from paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects which
could bridge the contacts. A short-
circuit between the contacts may
result in burns or fire.
•
Only connect the charging coupler
to IEC 62196-2 Type 2 charging
sockets. Do not connect non-
matching charging couplers and
charging sockets. Note the charging
point markings. Please refer to the
owner's manual for your vehicle.
•
Always place the device in a safe,
well-ventilated area.
Never expose the device to direct
•
sunlight.
Do not use the device in thunder-
•
storms. Disconnect the device from
the mains socket and the vehicle.
