WARNING:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury:
READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT
1. For household and indoor use only.
2. Use only extension cords which have plugs and receptacles which accept the
product's plug. Replace or repair damaged cords.
3. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be as great as the electrical
rating of the product.
4. Don't Abuse Cord – Never carry product by cord or yank it to disconnect from
receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
5. Disconnect the product from the power supply when not in use, before
servicing, when changing bulbs, cleaning, and similar actions.
6. Do not insert foreign objects into this product.
7. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
8. If the unit is malfunctioning, unplug it and contact the manufacturer.
9. Do not place unit in an area where it can fall into water or near flammable
materials. Do not clean unit with water, water spray, or liquid.
10. Avoid looking directly into the UV light. Skin or Eye damage may result from
directly viewing the light produced by the lamp in this apparatus.
11. Store product indoors when not being used.
12. Do not carry unit by cord. Unplug unit by pulling on the plug, not the cord. Keep
cord away from sharp edges, heat and flammable items.
13. Do not use where unit may be exposed to water or direct sunlight, including
roofed, but open porches.
14. Insects accumulating within base of the unit may contribute to fire. Clean dead
insects from unit frequently as noted in this manual.
15. Only use extension cords that have plug and receptacles that match the product
plug. If cord is damaged in any way, discontinue using the product. Replace or
repair damaged cords.
16. Electrical connections should be kept dry and off the ground.
17. Lamps are replaceable for user, the permitted replacement lamp type:
BL T8 F10W and rating Rated 10W, G13.
18. The product should only be connected to a circuit that is protected by a
ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).

POWER SUPPLY CORD:
1. This device is equipped with a 2-prong plug to fit proper type receptacles.. To reduce
the risk of fire or injury, only plug into a properly installed outlet.
2. Connections between power supply cord and extension cord if used should be kept
off the ground and dry.

SET UP AND USE

PROPER LOCATION:

Flying insects will always be more attracted to humans than to lights, however they will
gravitate to the strongest light source in the area.
We suggest when Flying insects are very aggressive in your area, try and stay away
from the bug zapper for a few days with only the light of the zapper on. This will help
lure them into its trap and kill off the majority of insects. Depending on the insect
population, two weeks or more may be necessary to significantly reduce the population.
Device can be located in an outdoor setting only in cases where it is protected from any rain
such as in a covered porch or carport. Use included chain for hanging unit. Ideal location
should be 6-7 feet above ground level to prevent children from reaching the unit. Keep at
least 6 feet away from any food prep or food storage areas and away from fans or open
windows when used inside. Always make sure to mount in a sturdy location.
