URL Filter
The URL Filter allows you to block access to undesirable Web site

To use this feature, you must define "filter strings". If the "filter string" appears in a requested URL, the request is blocked.
•
Enabling the URL Filter also affects the Internet Access Log. If Enabled, the "Destination" field in the log will display the URL.
Otherwise, it will display the IP Address.

Click the "URL Filter" on the Advanced screen to access the URL Filter screen. An example screen is shown below.

Settings
This lists any existing entries. If you have not entered any values, this
Enable
list will be empty.
If you always want filtering to be active, select "Always".
Schedule
Otherwise, select the schedule to use. You can define the schedule
using the Schedule menu option, on the Advanced menu.
Apply Filter to
Select the groups you wish the filter to apply to. Group membership
can be set on the "User Groups" screen, on the "Administration" menu.
Filter Strings
This lists any existing entries. If you have not entered any values, this

list will be empty.
Delete
Use this to delete the selected entry or entries, as required. Multiple
entries can be selected by holding down the CTRL key while selecting.
(On the Macintosh, hold the SHIFT key while selecting.)
Delete All
Use this button to delete all entries, if required.
