General Product Description: In a similar way to a standard air source heat pump (ASHP) the Joule DHW extracts energy from external outdoor air for the purpose of domestic hot water (DHW) production. After the air runs through the heat pumps evaporator, cooler air is exhausted back outside. - Page 8 A thermostatic mixer should be installed in the system to prevent the risk of scalding.
