COMPONENT CLEANING:
• BURNER:Wire brushloosecorrosion from burnerexterior.Cleancloggedgas port holeswith an openedpaperclip. Replacecorrodedor
damagedburnersthat wouldemit excessgas.
• ALUMINUMCASTINGS:Cleancastingexteriorwith mildliquiddishwashing detergentand hotwater. Aluminumis resistantto rust but
extremetemperatures and weathering may causeoxidation to formwhite spots. To refinished castings;cleanthe extedorand lightlysand
with mediumemery paperor fine sandpaper. Cleanoff residuewith vinegarwaterand rinsewith clean water. Oncedry, pain t with a high
temperaturepaint. After painthasthoroughly dried,bakeit on by operatinggrill for 15 minuteson mediumheat.
• STAINLESS STEEL: Cleanwith anymultipurpose(lowabrasive, n o phosphorous) metalpolishor stainlesssteel polishanda softclothto
preventmardngor scratching of the surface.NEVERUSEOVENCLEANER!
• ORIFICES: Unscrewodficesfrom rearof valves. (Fig.30) Washodficesin solventand blowair throughthe small end holes. Carefully
replacethe odficesin valvewhenthey are dry. Makecertainthat theorificesaretightly reassembled.
NEVERattemptto operateyourgdll withoutorificesin the valves_re
