Battery and Power Management
• Controlled CPU performance levels (that are other than 100%) may
cause some applications such as DVD playback to perform
improperly. Change the CPU performance level back to 100%.
• When you press the APM button, the current setting levels of the
selected mode is applied. In this case, the values you have applied in
the Power Options Properties dialog box or by the keyboard are
replaced with those of the selected mode of the APM button.
Changing the APM Button Mode
Pressing the APM button will display which APM button mode is operational.

Additional presses of the button will change the mode.

Press the APM button.
One of the following windows will appear and the highlighted mode will
be operational.
