Postcode Security

This option allows you to set a code, which will be displayed at TV
switch on time. There is a password to change the code.
SET PASSWORD AND POSTCODE, OR CHANGE POSTCODE
1. Press the MENU button
2. Press the YELLOW button
3. Press the RED button

PASSWORD Menu
It is indispensable to enter the password in order to continue
configuring the Postcode Security.
5. Enter the 4-digits using the number buttons 0 to 9.
6. When the password is first entered, the TV will ask for confirmation.
If this is the case, enter the same 4-digits again to confirm the
password.
7. When the password has been set, the POSTCODE Menu will
appear on screen.

8. Press the Cursor UP/DOWN buttons E/ F to select
"POSTCODE".
The red point mark indicates the selected parameter.
9. Press the Cursor RIGHT
Postcode.
The red background indicates the selected position.
10. Press the Cursor UP/DOWN buttons E/ F to set or change
the first letter/number. Letters A to Z of the alphabet, a blank space
and the numbers 0 to 9 will appear sequentially.

11. Press the / buttons for changing the position of the cursor
(red background) and the E/ F buttons to set or change the
letter/number. Repeat this action for other letters/numbers).
12. When you have finished the eighth letter/number, press the

Cursor RIGHT button to memorize the Postcode and quit form last
position.
13. When the Postcode has been set:
Press the RED button

About Postcode Security: If you memorize a Postcode, in the events of lose or robbery of TV set and later recovery, you can
identify your TV set by Postcode.
Notes: As a precautionary measure, make a note of your Password and the Postcode, and keep it in a familiar place (see last
page of this manual).
