No picture in PIP window
Turn on VCR (or
other Auxiliary
equipment) and
press PIP key on
remote control.
PIP window and screen have the same picture
Press the INPUT
key to select the
signal connected
to the AV jacks.
My remote control will not operate my Television
Press the TV key
on the Remote
Control. Then try it
again. Be sure to
point the remote
control at the TV.
My remote control will not operate my Cable Box or other auxiliary
equipment
Press the AUX key
on the Remote
Control. Then try
it again. (Make
sure the Cable
Box or auxiliary
equipment is
turned on.)
The cabinet makes a popping sound
This is a normal condition during the warm-up and cool down of the plastic cabinet parts.

Do you see PIP picture now?
Yes. VCR was turned off / PIP not selected.
No. Connect Ant./Cable to TV 75 ohm connector and Video cable from VCR Video
out to the TV Video In (or confirm that these connections are correct).
Do you see different pictures now?
Yes. PIP was displaying signal from TV Ant/Cable instead of VCR. VCR and TV were
tuned to the same channel.
No. Change channels on your VCR (or other Auxiliary equipment).
Does the remote control work now?
Yes. Another mode was selected. Press the appropriate key to operate the different
types of equipment. (Remote must be programmed. See pages 7~9.)
No. Replace the batteries or confirm that they are properly installed.
Does the remote control operate the Cable Box or other auxiliary equipment now?
Yes. Another mode was selected. Press the appropriate button to operate the
different types of equipment. (Remote must be programmed. See pages 7~9.)
No. Reprogram the remote control.
