BREvILLE QUIET BOIL TECHNOLOGy

HOW IT WORKS
The innovative Quiet Boil Technology
reduces the size of the water bubbles,
minimizing the noise level during heating.
It is only at the point of boil that a light
bubbling noise can be heard which will
indicate that the water has boiled.
MAINTAINING QUIET
BOIL TECHNOLOGy
Through regular use over time, scale can
build up in the kettle that can affect the
performance of the Quiet Boil Technology
as well as the life of the kettle.
Lime and phosphate are common forms
of scale that can damage your kettle.
Lime scale, a harmless mineral, comes
in the appearance of white, coloured or
rusty-looking build up on the inner walls
of the kettle. Phosphate scale cannot be
seen, however, it can cause the water to
appear cloudy when heated.
To prevent scale from damaging your
kettle, ensure that the kettle is de-scaled
regularly. This is done by emptying the
kettle after use and not allowing water
to stand in the kettle overnight.
Please read Page 13 for information on
de-scaling your Breville Quiet Kettle™.
NOTE
De-scale your kettle when required to
ensure maximum performance. Quiet
Boil Technology will not be as effective
if scale builds up inside the kettle.
WARNING
Do not remove the diffuser ring located
inside the kettle.
