    CARE OF YOUR SUBWOOFER In regards to care of your Velodyne Acoustics subwoofer, normal dusting or cleaning of the surface for appearance purposes is all that is required. We suggest you avoid any harsh detergents or chemicals when cleaning the cabinet. The finish on the cabinet may become damaged with the use of abrasives, detergents, or cleaning solutions.
  • Page 17 Most subwoofer crossovers are user-adjustable (e.g., from 50 Hz to 180 Hz on the VI-Q series), so you can find an exact match for your system at home. The goal of the setting is a seamless transition between the main speakers and the subwoofer, which means that bass can no longer be located in the room at best.

    Modelle haben keine LFE-Buchse oder einen 180° 25Hz 200Hz Line-Anschluss für Cinch-Stecker. Aber auch diese 12V TRIGGER IN Audiogeräte können ganz einfach mit einem Velodyne STEREO Acoustics Tieftöner über Lautsprecherklemmen verbunden werden. Die Frontlautsprecher des SERIES Systems werden parallel mit dem Verstärker und dem Subwoofer verkabelt.

    VERBINDUNGSKABEL Bei der Installation Ihres Velodyne Acoustics VI-Q Subwoofers über die Line-Level-Anschlüsse sollten Sie immer abgeschirmte Cinch-Kabel verwenden. Derzeit sind viele qualitativ hochwertige Kabel erhältlich. Es wird empfohlen, die Kabellänge so kurz wie möglich zu halten, um mögliche Rauschprobleme zu vermeiden.
  • Page 37 Frequenzen herausgefiltert werden. Die meisten Subwoofer-Frequenzweichen sind vom Benutzer einstellbar (z. B. von 50 Hz bis 180 Hz bei den VI-Q Modellen), damit man zu Hause einen genau passenden Wert zum eigenen System findet. Ziel der Einstellung ist ein nahtloser Übergang zwischen den Hauptlautsprechern und dem Subwoofer, wodurch Bässe im Raum bestenfalls nicht mehr geortet werden können.
