Preparation before using your unit
Using standard batteries

Open the cover of the battery
compartment.

Carefully check the correct
orientation of the positive and
negative terminals of the batteries.
• Use two AA/R6 type 1.5 V batteries.
Use two AA/R6 alkaline batteries.
Manganese batteries have a shorter
battery life.
Battery Life
(Using alkaline batteries)
• MP3-CD : 13 hours max.
• CD (When ESP is Off) : 16 hours max.
CD (When ESP is On) : 14 hours 30 minutes max.
Time for Battery Replacement
• Replace the batteries if the remaining battery power indicator "
• Should " " flash, the player will automatically turn off the CD ESP ON mode to
conserve battery power consumption.
Warning
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Remove the batteries if they will not be used for a long time.
