Service Bulletin -- Updating Everest I and II Printer Firmware
d. Browse and select the
everestversion.hex firmware
file in the Updated Firmware
folder.
e. Select Open.
f. Select Update Flash. The
firmware update process
begins. The Everest printer's
indicator lights will blink during
this process.
g. When the EVUpdate message
box displays and the Everest
printer's operator button
indicator light blinks, select
OK.
h. Select Exit. The Everest
Printer Firmware Updater
dialog closes.
4. Prepare the Everest printer for use.
a. Remove the power cord from the Everest printer.
b. Change the mode switch to position 1 (transponder).
c. Reattach the power cord to the Everest printer. The firmware update is complete.
