Set your handset's ringer style
Your handset has 5 ringer styles: Ringing,
Ascending, Ring Once, Beep Once, Off. This
setting changes the ringer type of all ringers.
In idle mode:

Set the notification tones
Notification tones will sound when you have a
new missed call, new voicemail or new

8.3 Call features

Your phone supports a number of call-related
features to help you handle and manage your calls
more effectively and conveniently. This section
describes the call-related features that apply to
both the Skype line and landline.

8.3.1 Auto answer

Auto answer enables you to answer an incoming
call by simply picking up the handset from the
charging cradle. You do not need to press a key
to answer the call.
Activate/deactivate auto answer
In idle mode:

8.3.2 Area code management

The area code feature automatically adds or
removes an area code of an outgoing call. You can
define an area code (up to 5 digits) you want to
add or remove. Depending on the country, your
phone decides either to add or remove an area
code.
Note
Country code must be set for the area code
feature to work properly. See "Select your
country", page 11.
Enter and activate the area code
