STARTING AND SHUTTING OFF ENGINE Starting the Engine NOTE: Disengage the PTO, engage the parking brake, and place the steering levers in neutral prior to starting the engine. 1. If the engine is cold, move the choke control to the On position. If the engine is warm or hot, do not use choke.
