Failure to clean the unit regularly can lead to potential malfunctions, as well as safety and health risks. -

7.3 Descaling Descale the device regularly, at least after every 25th use. Place the device into the cooking vessel and clamp it so that the device is cover with a mixture of 2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar just shortly under max marking. Set temperature to 180 °F and heat up the mixture for at least 1 hour. -
