1.2.3 Mandatory action symbols Read the instructions. These instructions are intended for Eaton certified installers. The Eaton certified installer must be an expert in the field and must therefore be responsible for commissioning the system according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local legislation.

It is strictly prohibited to open the xStorage Home 3P system except as listed in this manual. The installation of the equipment must not be carried out by personnel who are not Eaton certified installers, or professionals under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or people with have prosthetic heart valves or pacemakers.
The xStorage Home 3P system can only be used with photovoltaic modules that do not require the earthing of one of the poles. xStorage Home 3P can only be used with photovoltaic modules that meet the specific requirements of class A in accordance with the indications of the IEC 61730 standard. Do not connect any other energy source to the inverters in addition to the modules described above.

All the power sources supplied to meet the demand of the domestic needs and their operating parameters are constantly monitored and displayed in real time.

“GENERAL ALARM” icon. If this icon is on, the system has detected a fault. The code of the alarm detected by the system is displayed on the system status bar. Please refer to the troubleshooting section of xStorage Home 3P installation manual.
Many of the information and settings available from the menu are relevant for maintenance, diagnostics and installation. 4.4 Charts menu The charts menu enables the Eaton certified installer and end-users to access the data stored in the local memory and user interface. The information and settings available from the menu are also relevant for maintenance and diagnostics.

4.5 Info menu The “INFO” menu provides access to general information about the xStorage Home 3P. The data available from the menu are relevant for maintenance and diagnostics. Due to continuous improvement it is possible that changes will be implemented in the future.

4.7 Setting menu The “SETTINGS” menu provides access to all settings relevant to the installation of the xStorage Home 3P. The data and and settings available from the menu are relevant for maintenance and installation. Due to continuous improvement it is possible that changes will be implemented in the future.
4.7.1 General menu The “GENERAL ” settings menu provides access to all settings relevant to the installation of the xStorage Home 3P . Figure 13. The structure of the general settings menu page The general settings covers: “DATE / TIME” . The page enables to set the current date and time.

12. “FEED-IN CONTROL”. This page allows to enable / disable the FEED-IN CONTROL mode to limit the injection of the energy produced into the network and to set the limit value. Please refer to the xStorage Home 3P installation manual for further details.

“SMART LD” . This page enables to set the SMART LOAD operating mode for the load controlled by the isolated change-over contact (4 A – 250 Vac max) available in the xStorage Home 3P . Through contact, it is possible to enable secondary storage systems and / or domestic loads based on the status and energy balance of the system.
The “BATTERY” menu enables to configure the type, the brand and the model of the lithium-ion battery among those supported by the xStorage Home 3P system. Also, it allows to perform further settings of the usage parameters. Those settings are only accessible through the “INSTALLER” profile which requires a password to be logged in.
To ensure optimal Wi-Fi connectivity, make sure that the Wi-Fi signal available near the installation of the xStorage Home 3P system is high enough to allow a stable connection. For this purpose, during the configuration of the network parameters, the scanning and selection of the Wi-Fi network carried out by the xStorage Home 3P reports the signal strength of the wireless network to which the end-user intends to connect.
See the “LOGIN” menu section. WARNING – The settings of the GRID CODE can be accessed only by Eaton certified installers. Changing the parameters using the installer profile and not being an Eaton certified installer can affect the correct functioning of the system and relieves the manufacturer from all liabilities and invalidates the warranty and/or guarantee.

STAND-BY mode. Make sure you have connected an external USB memory stick where the “ xStorage Home 3P “ update file has been uploaded. The external USB memory stick must be large enough and must have at least 128 Mb of free space.

This functionality can be helpful if there is a need to make direct remote access to the xStorage Home 3P system by using a smartphone / tablet / PC device from a browser and the selected IP address.
