Description:
This command is used to set the communication protocol to be used by a specified module.
Syntax:
$AAPN[CHKSUM](CR)
$
Delimiter character
AA
The address of the module to be set in hexadecimal format (00 to FF)
P
The command to set the communication protocol
N
The communication protocol to be used:
0: DCON Protocol
1: Modbus RTU Protocol
Note that the INIT DIP Switch (DIP 4) must be set to the ON position before using this command.
See Section 1.5 for more details. The new protocol information will be saved in the EEPROM and
will become effective after the next power-on reset.

AA
The address of the responding module in hexadecimal format (00 to FF)
There will be no response if the command syntax is incorrect, there is a communication error, or
there is no module with the specified address.
Examples:
Command: $01P1
Attempts to set the communication protocol to be used by module 01 to Modbus
RTU, but the module returns a response indicating that the command was invalid
because the INIT DIP Switch (DIP 4) has not been set to the ON position. See Section
1.5 for more details.
