1. Getting started
BATTERY INSTALLATION (see figure 2):
Hold the unit with the bottom facing up and the narrow end away from you. Place your thumbs on either
side of the magnet and push forward. The battery cover will loosen. Lift off and place 2 "AA" batteries in the
compartment with the correct polarity shown in the diagram within each compartment. Replace the cover.
Never mix batteries of different types or mix old and new batteries. Replace both batteries at the same time.

2. Care and Maintenance
• If the Tornado Tin Opener slows during cutting, this may indicate a low battery level and the batteries should
be replaced.
• You can use a clean damp cloth or a sponge to wipe the surface of the Tin Opener but do not wash it under
running water or other liquids. Do not use solvents and abrasives when cleaning.
