DO NOT transport without chains. • Install transport locks before transporting. • Check for proper function of all available transport lights.     — Set Up AT4615 Unloading Applicator from Shipping Trailer Tongue Assembly to Main Frame Assembly Remove the twelve 3/4”-10UNC x 2” capscrews, grade 8 (91299-145), twelve 3/4”-10UNC lock nuts (97025), four 3/4”-10UNC x 5 11/16” U-bolts, grade 5 (JBP3352), eight 3/4” USS flat washers (9405-106), and eight 3/4”-10UNC hex nuts (9394-016) from the tongue assembly.

Check all hoses and cylinders for signs of leakage. Hoses should not be kinked, twisted or rubbing against sharp edges. Re-route or repair hoses as necessary. Refer to SAFETY section for additional information on safe repair and inspection of hydraulic components.

    — Set Up AT4615 Main Frame Transportation Wheels Unit should be parked on a firm, level surface, wings unfolded and unit lowered onto the transport stops. Make sure the towing vehicle’s parking brake is on, the engine shut-off and the ignition key removed. Using a safe lifting device and support stands rated at a minimum of 8,000 lbs., raise and support one side of the main frame assembly.

    — Operation AT4615 Preparing Tractor Before operating applicator, read the tractor operator’s manual and gain an understanding of its safe methods of operation. Check the tractor brakes and transport lights. Make sure they are in proper working order. Check the tractor hydraulic oil reservoir and add oil if needed. Verify that the tractor is adequately ballasted for drawbar operation at the anticipated draft and vertical tongue load.
