USE
FAMILIARISE THE DOG WITH
THE PRODUCT
Some dogs happily jump in as soon as they see
the pool. If the dog is nervous or unsure, you
may need to help it to get used to the pool.
Set up the pool, fill it with water and let the
dog examine it. When it sees and feels that
there is water in the pool it may jump it.
Otherwise stand or sit near the pool and call
the dog. Praise and reward the dog when it
comes to you. Try putting a toy in the pool
and play with it, or step in the pool yourself
and encourage the dog to do the same. It is
important to reinforce the required behavior
by praising and rewarding the dog.
Repeat this process several times until the dog
jumps in the pool voluntarily. The dog must
experience that it is pleasant to bathe.
Be patient, never force the dog.
