Adjusting Individual Speaker Volume
With this function you can adjust the volume of each individ-
ual speaker so that you can hear all speakers equally at the
listening position.
Note:
You cannot use this function while the HT-R510 is muted
(see page 32).
1
Press the remote controller's
[TEST] button, and turn up the vol-
ume so that you can hear the test
tone sufficiently.
While each speaker outputs the test tone
(pink noise), its name appears on the dis-
play, as shown.
2
Use the remote controller's
[CH SEL] button to select each
speaker, and use the LEVEL [ ] [ ]
buttons to adjust the volume.
Speakers are selected in the following
order: Left → Center → Right → Surr
Right → Surr Back → Surr Left → Sub-
woofer.
You can adjust the volume of each
speaker from –12 dB to +12 dB.
Notes:
• Only speakers that are included in the
current configuration output the test
tone. See "Specifying the Number of
Speakers" on page 25.
• The subwoofer will not output the test
tone if it's off. See "Setting the Sub-
woofer Mode" on page 25.
• If you don't press any buttons for two
seconds, the next speaker is selected
