2. Press $'' 72 (1' and move the cursor to the location of
the waypoint you want to add to the end of the route. The
location can be a nav aid, a waypoint, or an unmarked
point. As you move the cursor, the unit displays a new leg
from the last waypoint to the cursor position.
3. If you've selected an existing waypoint, press the $''
1(: :3 menu key. Repeat this process for each new
waypoint you want to add to the end of the route.
4. When you've finished adding waypoints to the end of the
route, press the &$1&(/ $'' menu key to select a differ-
ent editing mode, or 5(7851 to see the EDIT ROUTE
screen again.
5. Press the 5(7851 menu key (or any function key) to
leave the EDIT ROUTE screen.
Removing waypoints at the chart screen
To remove a waypoint from the route:
1. On the CHART screen, move the cursor to the waypoint
you want to remove and press the 5(029( :$<37
menu key. The waypoint is removed only from the route;
it isn't erased from the unit's memory.
2. You can remove additional waypoints by selecting them
with the cursor and pressing the 5(029( :$<37 menu
