Help and advice

It may be advisable to consult a physiotherapist or occupational therapist before choosing and using this equipment.
Lifting poles may not be appropriate for people in certain circumstances, for example if they have poor trunk control
or painful shoulders.
If freestanding, care should be taken to ensure that the base is positioned properly under the bed, otherwise the
frame may tip over. Furthermore, ensure that there is enough clearance for the base to slide under a divan bed where
required.
If you also use a mobile hoist for transfers, ensure that the lifting pole base does not prevent the host from being
correctly positioned under the bed and that the overhead arm does not obstruct the lifting boom of the hoist.
