Set up Auto login
This option allows IM to log you in automatically when you start the application.
You can use Auto login after you have logged in for the first time with the user
name and password provided by your service provider.
From the Inst. messaging online or offline menu, select Settings > Auto login >
On IM start-up.
Set up Contacts order
You can display your contacts either alphabetically or by status.
From the Inst. messaging online or offline menu, select Settings > Sort contacts >
Alphabetic or By status.
Set up IM availability indicators
The IM Availability option allows you and other users to know who is present
online and available to chat. You can set your phone to automatically update a
contact's availability status every time it is changed.
To set the availability status to an automatic update state, from the Inst. messaging
online or offline menu, select Settings > IM availability > Status updates > On.
A confirmation note appears.
To display how your presence is seen by other users, perform the following steps:

From the Inst. messaging online or offline menu, select Settings > IM
availability > Authorization.

Select one of the following options:
My contacts—only the contacts in your contact list can view your
availability information.
All—anybody can view your availability information.
Settings
This option allows you to change your User ID, Password, GPRS address, SMS
number, Bearer, and Service name.

• LOG OFF SERVICE

You can either log out of the IM service entirely, or you can close the IM application
on your phone but still remain logged in to the IM service. This enables you to receive
instant messages and chat invitations from your contacts, even when using your
phone for other purposes, for example, if you are making a call or playing a game.
