2. Slide the PowerEdge XR-series heater into the PSU bay 1 (left bay) until the release latch snaps into place.
CAUTION:
The PowerEdge XR-series heater must be installed in PSU bay 1 (left bay).
3. Insert the heater input plug into the heater connector and press the input plug until it clicks in place. Use a VELCRO
to loop the cable to the PowerEdge XR-series heater handle.
CAUTION:
The input plug must be fully inserted into the heater connector.
WARNING:
The DC power source must be turned off before inserting the heater input plug. The PowerEdge
XR-series heater is not hot pluggable.
4. Insert the power supply input plug into the -(48-60)V DC power supply connector and press the plug until it clicks in place.
CAUTION:
The input plug must be fully inserted into the power supply connector.
WARNING:
The DC power source must be turned off before inserting the power supply input plug. The DC
power supply is not hot pluggable when used with a PowerEdge XR-series heater.
